THE DESK CONCERT GUIDE
Can You Make a Tiny Desk AI Video with Friends?
You can plan a Tiny Desk AI project around your friends, but the current studio accepts one portrait per task. A reference video may show a group; it does not give you separate photo slots for each real friend in that group.
Make a set of individual clips
- Ask each person first. Use a photo you have permission to upload and make sure the adult shown agrees to appear in an AI video and to the intended sharing.
- Choose one portrait per task. A clear face and visible upper body make a useful starting point. See the portrait checklist.
- Create separate takes when available. Each accepted task uses one video generation.
- Review and combine. Download completed clips, then use a separate video editor if you want a sequence or split screen. Check faces and permissions for every clip.
Separate takes may differ in identity, movement and background; a matching band or synchronized performance is not guaranteed. New videos are silent. Live AI output has not yet been verified, and the local demo makes a static photo video.
Frequently asked questions
Can one group photo assign my friends to different band roles?
No. The current workflow provides one portrait input and does not offer a separate upload or role assignment for each band member.
Do three separate takes use one video generation?
No. Each accepted task uses one video generation. A confirmed failed task returns the generation used.
