# Tiny Desk AI

> Tiny Desk AI is an independent photo-to-video tool for creating a fictional desk concert from one portrait. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR or Tiny Desk Concerts.

Upload one photo of yourself or a consenting adult and create a desk-side performance with that person as the lead. New videos use a fixed visual reference and are configured for an approximately 15-second, vertical 9:16 MP4. Results are delivered without an audio track. Identity, movement and exact duration can vary. The six videos in the gallery are supplied examples for viewing; they are not customer results or selectable generation inputs.

Each accepted task uses one video generation. One-time packs are Single: 1 video for $8.90 or €8.90; Creator: 3 videos for $19.90 or €19.90; and Studio: 5 videos for $29.90 or €29.90. No subscription is required. A confirmed failed task returns the generation used; an uncertain provider outcome may be held for review. Within 14 days after payment, unused generations from a purchase may be refunded proportionally. Check the price and currency shown at checkout.

## Workflow details

### Photo and permissions

Choose one clear, well-lit portrait with the person's face and upper body visible. Accepted photos are JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MiB. You must have permission to use the photo and confirm that every adult shown has agreed to appear in an AI-generated video.

Each task has one portrait input. The studio does not provide separate photo slots for assigning several friends to different band roles, a custom prompt box or a song-upload field.

### Making and downloading a video

1. Sign in and choose an eligible portrait.
2. Confirm permission and review the displayed video-generation cost.
3. Start the task. Processing continues in the background if you close the page.
4. When the task succeeds, watch and download the result from My videos in the account that created it.

New videos use one fixed visual reference for the performance; the gallery clips are for viewing only. The configured output target is approximately 15 seconds, vertical 9:16 and MP4. The resulting appearance, motion and exact duration can differ between generations.

One video generation is deducted when a task is accepted. Confirmed failures return the generation used. If the provider's outcome is uncertain, the task may be held for review instead of being automatically resubmitted. Returning a generation adjusts the account balance; it is not a cash refund. Within 14 days after payment, customers may request a proportional refund for unused generations from that purchase. The support inbox is not yet receiving mail. Applicable consumer rights continue to apply. The site shows the applicable currency and amount before checkout.

### Accounts and privacy

Sign in to submit a task and access its results. Available sign-in methods depend on the services configured for the site. Uploaded photos and completed videos are private, and downloads require the account owner's authenticated session. Photos are scheduled for automatic deletion 14 days after upload and videos 14 days after they become available; unsuccessful cleanup is retried. A configured AI provider receives the inputs needed to process a task and may retain copies under its own policy. The support inbox is being set up and cannot receive requests yet. ### Sound and sharing

New videos are delivered without an audio track, and the gallery's audio is not added to the result. If you add music in a separate editor or social app, check that you have permission to use it for that platform and purpose. Before sharing, review the video, obtain the depicted person's agreement and follow the destination platform's rules for AI-generated content.

### Frequently asked questions

**How much does one video cost?** Each accepted task uses one video generation. The Single pack contains 1 video for $8.90 or €8.90; larger one-time packs contain 3 or 5 videos.

**Can I put several friends into separate band roles?** Each task accepts one portrait and has no separate photo slots for multiple people. You can make separate clips with each consenting adult; each accepted task uses one video generation.

**Can I choose a gallery clip as the generation reference?** No. The gallery clips are for viewing; new tasks use one fixed visual reference.

**Does the video include the original song?** No. New videos are silent and do not include a song or soundtrack. Music added elsewhere requires the appropriate permission.

**Can I upload a song or enter a custom prompt?** No. The studio has neither a song-upload field nor a custom prompt field.
